Norwalk (Shea) Islands Alternative?

I haven't checked regulations for camping on the Norwalk Islands for this season, but if there is interest, I'd be happy to do so. In the past we've launched from the Saugatuck in Westport and paddled the 4 miles or so to Shea....in late May and early-mid June it's usually pretty quiet: sandy beach, solar port-a-potty, town and ice cream a couple of miles' paddle away.
Norwalk in the past allows reservations to be made within 14 days of the desired date, so If there's specific interest I can sign up for the desired number of sites when the time comes.
If there's not much interest, I'm happy to give it a miss this year.
