After a while you'll be able to roll any boat with ease and it won't be dependent on getting your head on the back deck. If you want to peruse Greenland rolls then being able to get your head low on the back deck is more critical. My point is: don't assume your head has to be plastered on the back deck to roll easily.

I think all boats can benifit from a lower seating position as well as some tweaking with placement. Everyone won't agree with this, but I wouldn't sacrifice comfort or boat performance just to make rolling easier however.
