Hi,
Im looking for your opinions on something i am quite new at, and before its too late..
Recently learing the initial art of rolling with Cheri, using their boats, in mine it is not so easy yet. Cheri suggested moving the seat forward..I sat in the boat and moved my butt forward about 3-6 inches....by golly my back shoulders and head found their way to the boat combing/deck fairly easily..back 6 inches..its difficult.
I hear some of you have cut out the seat of the Outer Island completly......am i on the right track ? Especially to a good solution ???
do i cut out the seat, get a NRS HOTSEAT, glue it to the floor, (will lower me about an inch or two) or is it a good idea to just cut and make an adjustable bracket for moving the seat first..then buy those NRS minicell foam thigh and leg pads..maybe an inflatable back rest, something inflateable like Cheri and Turner use for holding in the hand and roll practice.
I dont want to fill up this message space with all your comments, you can e mail me...or if you think others may be interested, here might be good too..
When the pool sessions start up soon, i want to have the boat ready and me ready to get the last part of rolling (in my own boat)down before the season starts.
