It's hard to tell - I saw some post-recovery deck photos that clearly show the forward right mounting ball broken off - I have not seen any after photos of casper though. For those that don't know casper was the name given to a custom designed fiberglass cockpit hood Andrew could put on to allow him to sleep in kayak and be somewhat protected from the elements. It appeared to work well in all trials.
