In Response To: How come nothing in western CT til Aug? (Rob Di Stasio)

Hi Rob

I am the person who wrote the skedual this year. I originatly had two paddles out to the Norwalk Islands. I removed the one in the spring and replased it with one on the CT river this was by request on one of our members. I posted on the BB several times looking for Paddles sugestions and receaved vary few. If you have sugestions for paddles in Western CT please e-mail me with them. Frankly besides Norwalk there vary few placed that have free parking and interesting paddle destinations.

I have worked to acheve a balance of paddles up and down the lingth of CT. The paddles around Branford and Thimbal Islands are fun and interesting and only 35 to 40 minuts from Norwalk. Come to sum of those you will have a good time.

It is kind of hard to say I have favered the Eastern part of CT considering I live in Norwalk. Please e-mail me with other places to paddle in Western Long Island sound the more varyed the events the better club, CNNYAK is.

Sheldon
