Omer Singer and the Greek Islands talk

Here’s a more formal blurb on Omer Singer. We had the privilege of meeting him and Hadas Feldman on a trip that they led in the Greek Islands this past summer. Never did we expect such beautiful scenery, such exciting wind and sea conditions, such superb kayaking instruction and friendship, such terrific traveling companions, and so many laughs. It was simply the best vacation we've ever had.

Anyhow, here’s the blurb for the ConnYak event:

Omer Singer co-founded Terra Santa Kayak Expeditions in Herzelia, Israel, to promote world peace through kayaking. With his remarkable skills as a kayaker and as an instructor, his genuine love for people and for living life, and his irreverent sense of humor, Omer Singer is truly the Ambassador of Kayaking for World Peace.

Omer learned his sea kayaking in Anglesey, Wales. And since then, he’s paddled in such diverse nations as Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Sweden, USA (Alaska and Oregon), Turkey, Greece, Israel, Egypt, Slovenia, and Portugal.

Omer is a BCU level 4 Coach for sea kayak, surf kayak, and white water, and a BCU 5-Star paddler. Come to meet Omer and to join us for a talk about paddling in the Greek Islands. It will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007, 6:30 PM at the Milford Coast Guard Auxiliary Station.
