Or as Bill Cosby would put it:

"I was paddling along minding my own business, and, bam!, this big ugly wave hit me. And then........I realized that there was no more air to breathe...........and my gut said "ROLL YOU FOOL!!!".....instead of my old ususal "GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!".......and that's when I learned I was an intermediate paddler"
