I suppose I can simply even more, Nick:

Launch boat during outgoing tide in Norwich. Wait to see which way boat is drifting, then point bow that way and paddle till swells are too tall (6") then turn left and follow coastline till I see Pine Island and turn left. Land on sand spit on right after passing moored boats.

Quickly consume 3 cold Bass Ales that were being towed behind boat. Rest, then reverse course and follow back upstream with incoming tide until bow hits land where initial launch took place.

Take 3 Tylenol to combat headache from Ale.

Done. (oh yes, then remove KV vest - thanks Steve)
