Basically, get on the river, paddle south. When you see the men with guns pointed at you - paddle to the other side, continue south, when you see a big boat bearing down on you- get out of the way, continue south, if you see signs saying stay 100 yards off shore - paddle away from shore then continue south, stop some time before you hit Bermuda.
: I am trying to map out my Thames-to-the-Sea route from downtown Norwich,
: ending at either Groton Long Point or even to Bluff Point park. However, I
: am having a tough time finding maps or guidance on rules regarding which
: sides of the river I should avoid on the trip. I am seeing the Coast Guard
: Academy, Naval Sub Base, various industrial areas out past the bridge,
: ferry landings, etc.: Does anyone know where I could go for this type of information? I don't want
: to get run over, shot at, arrested, or detained on this little adventure..: Thanks all for any help.
