I've just recently started kayaking regularly after completing construction on a Chesapeake 16 in the spring of 2005. Though my real passion is catamaran sailing, kayaking fits in nicely when there isn't enough time or a suitable launching place to do the sailboat thing. I mostly launch out of the town beaches in Milford and paddle on the sound from Stratford to New Haven.
