Funny you should mention "HEARING" the wheel bearings, Dave, because I don't hear anything at all! The only other time I've had a car with bad bearings the noise was quite audible. This car has a lot of road noise and I just put four snow tires on but I still think I aught to have noticed something. My mechanic spotted the problem while putting on new rear shoes. The hub was hard to move I guess.

I wonder how long I've got? I need another paycheck to cover the $300 job.
