: I've seen repair books for larger boats, but not specifically for
: kayaks. Try looking thru a few boat building books, that should
: cover most of the basics of dealing with glass repair. After
: that, the best Connecticut resource is likely to be the Mystic
: Seaport library. It is open limited hours (definitely check) but
: is (or at least was) available free for research without paying
: entrance fee. The library staff is very helpful and you could
: peruse their books, copy some pages and see if they have
: something still in print that meets your needs.

In my opinion, the "Bible" on boat construction and repair is "The Gougeon Brothers on Boat Construction" (it's not kayak specific.)
The problem with a reference book is that materials and procedures are always evolving, so a book quickly becomes dated in some of it's advice. I think the fifth edition of this book is the newest, and it's Copyright date is 2005. Of course it doesn't mention G-flex and the other products released since the publication date.
