well, yes , the complaint is that Connyak is elitists - and adding more levels and requirements might finish off any chance of attracting NEW ( read that as beginner paddlers - which we all here at one time) I thought we were trying to encourage new paddlers to join up and paddle in a safer environment instead of drive them away to paddle solo ( and far from safe) feeling they weren't up to the ConnYak levels .
