I lived with this issue for a couple of years myself, and ended up only looking at apartments/houses for rent with storage options. Once I even stored mine inside my condo in Norwich hanging from the ceiling as I had a 22' long room with a 15' high ceiling. It's funny how creative you can get, how you start looking for covered porches, large building/garage overhangs, or anything that might protect a boat from the elements. However, my greatest fear was always the two legged threat...

You might try posting your location (city) and let anyone who knows that area chip in with suggestions/advice. I once rented a 5'x20' storage container for $95/month and found it to be a PITA regarding access - but at least I slept well knowing the boat(s) would be safe.
