: As it turns out the surf image on the sides of the home page show
: up if your browseer/screen settings are somewhat wider than
: 1024px. So they show up on my home computer, not my office
: computer and not my iPhone.

: My original preference was to have a solid backgound and a narrow
: page. But others wanted a wider page to fill their monitors.
: There is more tweaking to be done.

I like the "feel" of today's home page very much!
