Somebody should invent a breathable PFD. I paddled Sunday late morning at Stony Creek with a Kokatat Gortex suit. I had light weight poly T-shirt and a middle weight long sleeve poly shirt. I was dying in a half hour and when the sun came out I had to wet down the suit. If I leave this suit on top of the car, my next one will have the neoprene neck and maybe an inflatable PFD. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a breather valve on the shoulder of the suit that when it hits water it automatically shuts. There has to be a better way to stay comfortable in dry suits when the water is dangerous and the air temp is not really that cold.
