A small group went to The Narrows last Sunday to take in the warmish air and water temps for some long and short boat surfing. The winds made the shore break a little sloppy but still surfable. By far the most interesting place to be was near the rocks at the mouth of the river where the combination of strong outgoing current, swell and winds made for some very good conditions to play in. The rocks at the mouth of the river also afford an excellent perch to take photos from. In the photo below Jim R. is demonstrating a textbook low brace.
