General paddling:
Anywhere on a big wind day
LSD paddling (long slow distance)
There's just something about a ski.
Maybe because I use a wing all the time and the narrowness of the ski fits the wing stroke.
Even getting to like it in tide races, like Hatchett Reef or the rip off Meig's Point at Hammonasset.
It's just what I'm used to now.
learning to throw a leg out to do a bongo slide.
still working on getting on it in a shore break launch - had to swim it out past the break last Thurs.
I don't do a whole lot of rock gardening.
BTW, Scott, that's one sharp looking Rapier
