Over the next few weeks Dennis and I will be putting together next year's Club paddle schedule. If any of you (especially newer members) have any requests or suggestions for next year, please post them here or email me. If you've got a great idea for a new trip, a variation on one of the "usuals" or a request for one we haven't done in a while, let's hear it now. Dennis and I will not be accepting any complaints next year. We are going to try to schedule some good entry-level sea kayaking paddles for when the water gets warm enough for regular, non-drysuit wearing folks to start venturing out (including a mid-June Picnic/ Rescue Clinic). We will try to take the tides and currents into account as much as possible as well as the seasons (decent foiliage etc.). There will be improved descriptions of the typical trips listed on the calendar with plenty of holes left in the schedule to post other favorite paddles as the season moves along. Note to new members: Most "pickup" paddles posted by individual members serve to fill in the gaps intentionally left in the schedule and are typically conducted the same way as the "Club" paddles listed on the calendar. You are just as welcome to come along on those too, you don't have to "know" somebody. More extreme or challenging paddles will generally be described as such.
