I stretched the neck gasket on a Kokatat drytop for a year and it didn't help, so I sold it (which I probably could not have done had I cut the gasket). I stick with NRS whose gaskets I find to be comfortable and dry from the first day. (Is it too soon to start the annual NRS vs. Kokatat wars?)
