: you want to let it become dry to the touch. It should go from shiny
: to dull looking and you should be able to touch it with a finger
: and have your finger come away clean. The dap stuff I have used
: takes 10 minutes or so to dry.

I use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process for contact cement especially in cold weather. The stuff works great for permanently attaching closed cell foam to fiberglass or closed cell foam to closed cell foam. Good luck outfitting your boat.
