Dave, you mean it's not a good "rough water boat".
I am interested in boat design and now I'm curious if what you say is true. It's an interesting concept that perhaps these are more for coastal passages but going down to the islands, passing through the bermuda triangle is as open water as any ocean. I'm going to research it a bit. My assumption is that the hulls are as good as the old war-horse ocean liners especially with the sophisticated computer design of today. I'll let you know what I find out. I'm not being contrary but I just can't assume that anyone would build a cruise liner of this magnitude with out ocean capabilities beyond the ships of the past.
