I think requiring wearing of life jackets in kayaks is reasonable law and will save lifes. Every connyaker I,ve ever kayaked with has worn their pfd on the water, its only common sense. The only downside is that it sometimes gets a little warm but hey, your on the water and should be able to figure out how to cool off. It becomes natural to wear it and it is certainly much more reasonable the some of the dumb proposals I,ve read about.
