Agree, the Coast Guard Helecopter rescue was pretty cool to watch!
Sure don't want to take part in a real one, but good to know those great guys and gals are there just incase.

Discussing the eternal question, with a CG-AUX gentleman from NY, on how to get people to wear their PFDs?
We agreed that not having the luxury of being born with gills, PFDs are the only chance of survival for us land based mammals.
Suggested maybe a psychological approach where it appears the decision is made by the wearer and not dictated by the authorities.
