: How is the PE working out for you so far vs the Explorer. Much more

The Explorer is solid in rough water and a stable platform in calm water but good speed moving forward. The PE is not what I would say is "more tender" but more responsive to the water. You definitely feel a greater connection to the water, in a good way, it is alive and you need to stay tuned in. The PE has very good forward speed, tracks well with out using the skeg, yet turns on a dime. For lighter paddlers, it is worth a try!
