Isn't all of this truly that money is the root of all evil? If we had no money would any of this nonsensical discussion be taking place? I've seen this in many clubs where the base intentions of the origination gets sidetracked for bureaucracy, litigation and stature in trying to be everything to everyone. Clubs always start out with like minded people getting together to share their similar interest and before you know it, there's scholarships, grants, advertising and insurance. Sometimes you need to drop back and punt. My feeling is - let anyone who has lofty goals come forward and actually do them. Otherwise don't worry about it.
