The ConnYak Picnic is this Sunday, Sept 12

For those who have not been to it before: ConnYak supplies hotdogs and burgers ( beef and some turkey) and soft drinks. Please bring a dish to share which makes it into a more enjoyable event. If you have anything special to drink bring that but no alcohol. Bring your boat since the lake is plenty large enough for paddling and playing. Although there are picnic tables that we set up, you should bring a chair as well for sitting on the beach or if there's not enough table seating. Rain or shine - the facility has a protected roofed area where we eat. The current long range forcast looks good. A few extra coolers would be good if you have one to bring. We will also have a table allocated to kayak tag sale items. Boats, pfd's, bags, clothing - anything. You can arrive wether you're a member or not and you can bring a friend if you have one.
