Thanks for your offer. I did the patch today and it looks ok, but the color added to get white did not really get to white. It was pretty thick mix and required a surface which squeezed it into the patch area.

I went to Brian's web site which you suggested and I think any further work will be done with the gel coat finishing as you had done. It looks like a much better system.
