I have to do a little gel coat repair and got a repair kit from West Marine. The kit has a 1 oz tube of polyester gelcoat paste and hardener and color including white. Anyway, the mixing is 1/6 oz of past with 4 drops of hardner and no more than 5% of color.
Any idea how tolerant are these for mixing. It looks like a measuring nightmare. This is my first repair and they did tell me that I had better fix it before paddling or it will wick into the fiberglass and cause delamination.

I would appreciate any advice before reparing this.
