Sure Gortex wont cover it -like all manufacturers they would rather sell you an new one.
When I sent my drysuit to Kokata it came back with approximately 30 patches (a few of you have seen this suit so you know I'm not far off on the count) ... and I didn't even have a leak to start.
I don't think I can do much worst.
