I think Dave wrote about the Black Swan because of the following definition: An event or occurrence that deviates beyond what is normally expected of a situation and that would be extremely difficult to predict. This term was popularized by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, a finance professor and former Wall Street trader.

However, when I made exactly the same mistake that eveing by relaying the information that everyone was going to the Black Swan, there was no esoteric reason for it. I'm just easily confused. I'm going to name my kayak the black swan.
