The Mystic Wooden Boat Show paddle out of Esker on 6/27 was a good one. Lots of spooky glowing fog in the morning with blazing sunshine later on made for one of the more memorable paddles of the season. For me though, on a sunny day with some swell coming in, paddling through the sparkling, churning water along the rocks and cliffs at Jamestown R.I. is hard to beat. Always worth the trip.
