Every year I look forward to a paddle from Mystic harbor, _ check out the old boats, out the river, through the wildlife area, crossing over to Ram for lunch. I like the changing scenery, the clear water, and usually it's T-shirt weather and I'm not dressed for battle with the sea. Sitting out on Ram reminds me of how great these little boats we use actually are.
